Employee Spotlight

Jason Smith

By: Lodge Cast Iron / November 10, 2016

This week, in honor of Veterans Day, we're celebrating a few of our hard-working veterans at Lodge Manufacturing.

Jason Smith

Jason Smith joined the Marine Corps as a combat engineer right out of high school. He worked on everything from construction projects to demolition to building bridges, and was stationed in South Carolina and Okinawa. He recalls how he and his fellow Marine Corps service members would climb Mt. Fuji during their days off. "It was awesome," he says. "I still keep in touch with people I was with there. I've got friends all over."

After he left the Marine Corps, Jason worked for UPS, then joined Lodge in 2011. Jason is now an attendant in our warehouse, driving the forklift and making sure orders get shipped out on time.

Thanks for your service and for your work at Lodge, Jason!
