Cast Iron improves baking performance.

Hand wash. Dry immediately.
Rub with a light coat of vegetable oil after every use.
You may experience some sticking with new cookware so use a little oil when cooking.
Mild soapy water is fine, if you dry and oil immediately.
Lodge seasoned cast iron is right at home on any heat source, except the microwave.

Have not been able to make cornbread not stick in this pan. Always sticks. Money wasted. I would not buy again.

cornbread! or, "fish eggs": heat pan in 450 oven until ripping hot, butter each fish cavity, then crack an egg in each one, dab hot sauce for an eye and lay a small piece of cooked bacon on top to make "striped bass" turn oven down to 350 and watch for a few minutes until yolks are set.
