My fiance and I have been in the market for new cookware for months, and there's been much debate over which option to choose. The range of cookware variations can be intimidating. We considered a 10pc set, but it didn't seem practical. We cook often, and she is an amazing cook, so it really came down to a versatile piece that would facilitate a broad range of cooking styles, menus, and withstand the test of time; all while remaining affordable. The verdict? Cast Iron. Obviously. We purchased this grill pan at Target for $19.99, and I can honestly say It is the smartest buy we've ever made. Lodge quality means we will have this pan for the rest of our lives. Cast Iron ensures a worry-free cooking surface and durability. This is the pan to get if you need a do-it-all piece of equipment that will never let you down. The extra care required to maintain a piece of cast iron is well worth it. If properly cared for these pans will not only last forever, but also improve with each use. This pan will never leave the stove. It will be used daily to prepare a variety of menu choices from steak to chicken, asparagus to carrots, lamb to veal. It can handle it. Whether looking to supplement your current cookware, looking to pick up just one do-it-all pan, or even a piece to use for open-flame campfire cooking, this pan will suit your needs and provide decades of unmatched performance.

After my divorce my cookware was wiped out. I am returning to my roots, my mother used cast Iron a lot, and taught me to cook and take care of cast Iron. I have only bought Lodge cookware to use and love the versatility. I am eliminating propane grills from my life and the Lodge grill pan is a excellent substitute. I still have a charcoal grill for special steaks and entertaining but the grill pan is a home run for day to day cooking.

So many pans/ skillets have come and gone. Non stick gets scratched and its no longer desirable. These cast iron pans have lasted generations! Literally stays on the stove because its used just that much. Now that I got the GRILL pan, I'm making steaks that look and taste like I brought home dinner from Cattlemen's! Thank you Lodge...for a product that has lasted and will continue to outlast!

It's great for cooking steaks and grilled chicken, especially if you use the Lodge iron lid too.

Greetings from Germany!
Since I got this cast iron grill pan, making steaks is so much more fun!
I am literally eating beef steak on a daily basis now.

I will be getting the 12" Lodge skillet now because I think searing beef steaks in a flat skillet will yield even better results.

Before I got this cast iron grill pan I never understood the importance of good cookware made from the right materials - but now I do!

Thanks for this great American product! Love it! :)

Rusted cast iron can be cleaned.

Was amazing in grilling my round cut steaks. However, after a twice usage I got it totally rusted. As there is no instructions had been attached when I bought it in order to teach customers how correctly clean it after every single use (hand wash is not enough, know how must be written on) . I lost money for terrible grill pan I'll put in the garbage.

I had real pictures of the rusted pan after only two uses, if you guys want to see.

That's not satisfied and extremely bad feedback ever right?

Regards,

Grills vegetables like asparagus and broccoli better than anything I've ever used. The veggies are so tasty I think I'm becoming a vegan.

Use it to cook steaks under broiler. I let it heat up 10 before adding the steak. Cook for a few minutes, flip, and cook a few more minutes. prefect browning and medium rare. For me better than most grills.
