I love this dutch oven. It bakes the most beautiful and delicious bread. The lid captures the steam and gives the bread wonderful thin crackly crust and moist interior.

What could be better? American made. Two pans for the price of one. If simplicity pushed to the extreme is elegant, then this dutch oven is the most elegant item in my kitchen.

Perfect for bread - after the dough has proved and you need to get it into the cooking vessel, it's not going to drop 8 inches and sigh out all the gases. You drop it into the shallow lid! Not far at all to fall!

This is a beautiful Dutch oven that I leave out on my stove. I love the fact that it's two pans in one!

Every one needs, no must have this model. Mine is 5 years young and I use it several times a day. Yesterday I just finished a large batch of Chicken Liver Pate in it. I use it in the oven for ratatouille with the lid on. The lid by itself for venison and white beans in the winter. Endless uses, my husband said it cleans up quickly as he is the dishwasher in our home.

Worked great with induction range, love the lid/skillet versatility.
Made a juicy pulled pork dish and looking forward to baking bread in it. Very happy and attached to my new Lodge.
