Perfect for picnics and tailgating, draft door regulates heat and coals are accessible behind a flip-down door. Cast Iron Grill Grate provides superior heat retention.

Optional Sportsman's grill cover is also available.

Grill Surface: 17-1/4" x 9", unit size 19" x 10-1/4", 8-1/4" height. All castings are oil finished.

Use at home, camping and tailgating.
Cast Iron Grill Grate produces superior results.
Door allows for coals to be added.
Sliding mechanism enhances airflow.

Hand wash. Dry immediately.
Rub with a light coat of vegetable oil after every use.
You may experience some sticking with new cookware so use a little oil when cooking.
Mild soapy water is fine, if you dry and oil immediately.

This thing is the most fun grilling experience I've ever had. Except get the cover. (Caught a stray cat licking it. That grossed me out.L Its the perfect size, perfect design, perfect grilling surface. I like the way the door opens to repkenish the charcoal.

I've had mine for years. Got it when they were a whole lot cheaper. Absolutely the best for grillng two portions. I use the chunk charcoal.

Great grill with excellent heat distribution. However, when by myself and hankering for something on the grill, it is a tad too big. I wish they made one that is similar to the old Habachi's because there is a big market for them, and what's out there today is pure garbage and don't come to Lodge;s quality.

I have an old Sportsman grill that was the forerunner to this one. I gave it to my late fathr in 1969 and it is still in use on my patio. I also have this Lodge grill that I chose as a safety award offered my my employer. This one is in a storage compartment on my motorhome and we use it wile campimg. Both of them cook very well, especially steaks and burgers.

A tad expensive but worth every dime! They last and last & last (they only ask for a little care once in awhile). I've had one for + 10 years and have just cracked open a replacement. You can't go wrong with this gem. Best grill I've ever owned!
