I ran across these in BassPro in Houston and was very happy to see Lodge back at the loaf pan. I bought four of them and regularly have all four going at the same time. I usually cook a lot of corn bread and the trouble is my people all love different styles. I'll mix up a basic batch, a batch with jalapeno pepers, a sweet batch and then a sugar free batch. I put the pans in the oven at 400 getting them hot while I make the batter then pour the batter in for an immediate sear on the bread. Makes the bread taste so good and so much better than using my old ceramic pans for bread.

An awesome product from Lodge. I have been using Lodge cast iron cookware for over 30 years. The loaf pans are great ! ! !
Even browning on all types of bread, as well as super meatloaf baked in them. Everyone needs to try them.

Just tried one last weekend for a meatloaf. Have used other Lodge cast iron cookware for years. This loaf pan is awsome. Won't use anything else foe meatloaf. Keep up the good work Lodge.

I use these for making all sorts of yeasted breads... they work great. I bake on the lower rack of my oven so the bottom browns up nicely at the same time the top of the loaf does. I've been using them for a few years and I hate to use anything else!
