I've used mine several times without any problems. I use it primarily on my wood pellet grill. I have several pieces of Lodge Cast Iron. It is a must if you cook on a grill. Clean up for the coated and regular cast iron is a breeze if you follow the directions and keep the regular cast iron seasoned with oil after every use. I would not use any other cast iron but Lodge due to the success I've had using it. China bashing is nothing new as is Walmart bashing. Look around, almost everything you wear or use in everyday life is made in another country. Don't blame Lodge because the search out other alternatives to make a product more affordable for the consumer. Just think how much this product would cost if it was made in the U.S.A with the overpaid union labor. The bottom line is if you don't like the price of a product or where it was made DON'T buy it. No one is forcing you to purchase it and then we won't have to listen to you whine about it.

Chinese garbage from a classic American manufacturer. If i wanted imported enameled cast iron I would be looking at Le Creusete.

Recieved as a wedding gift and was so excited. Almost immediately it discolored, enamel chipped, and is impossible to fully clean. You get what you pay for -- questionable provenance, two coats vs. competitor's four coats of ceramic, and poor customer service. Save for something better!

MAADE IN CHINA?!?!? Over $100 for Chinese junk! If I wanted Chinese crap I could have gotten it much cheaper.
