The chimney firestarter works great on starting charcoal but it needs two improvements.
One: It needs something better than the tabs to keep the grate in. My tabs broke off the first time I used them to put the grate in.
I had to wire the grate into the chimney.
Two: The grate needs to have a more narrow grating spacing. Partial charcoal brickets easily fell out the bottom when transporting it to pore the contents to the barbeque or dutch Oven.
